We know people love travelling with their dogs and this area of France is among the most dog-friendly areas you can find. Many cafés and restaurants will happily allow your pet inside and provide water.

La Maillerie is 7 acres of ideal dog friendly accommodation with woods to explore, a stream and waterfall to play in or simply to cool off and a large playing field to run off some energy. We are 250m down a rural track from the quiet village centre and have signposted country walks running straight past the property. Our gites are designed with dogs in mind and have tiled floors and stairgates.

Lovely big room so I could see both people at all times and therefore didn't have to lie in a doorway and trip people up! Floor nice and cool to lie on too. Lovely woodland walks right outside the door and my own personal river to cool off in (and drink from) - what more could a dog want from a holiday.
