Busserolles

Within the village of Busserolles there is a traditional wood-fired Boulangerie, Post Office and Bistro/Bar offering a fantastic value traditional 'menu du jour'. For the more energetic there is also a floodlit, village tennis court, childrens' play and picnic area by the river, small paddling lake with life guard during August and a number of  VTT walking and mountain bike trails through local woodland and countryside.

Busserolles has its own 11th Century Church which is open to visitors most of the year and hosts a variety of traditional music concerts.

Busserolles hosts a number of village events, all within walking distance, over the summer months. These include the Busserolles VTT running / mountainbike race over 10km/25km,  weekend fair with activities and catered open-air evening meals in the park, a village night market with Moules-Frites and music, a traditional 14th July Bastille meal with entertainment in the village centre and an organised night walk with meal in the open-air. 

Beyond the village of Busserolles there are signposted walking and mountain bike trails that start at the gite and two leisure lakes with beaches for swimming/paddle-boarding and fishing within a 15 minute drive.
